Packing Day #1

Yesterday was our first packing day and, while a pain in the butt, it was certainly exciting! I packed up two footlockers and two duffles full of non-essential, but nice to have around, stuff. Much of it was books that I've read, climbing gear, comfort items like my very soft Iraqi 'woobie' blanket, extra clothes, civilian clothes for Ft. Lewis, extra gear, etc. For personal gear, most of us are now down to one duffle bag, one rucksack, and one laptop case worth of gear, which is all that we'll be able to take with us when we travel.

Military Police (MP) came over from the KRAB to do the customs inspection.
