A day later, our unit received intelligence that someone was harboring a large weapons cache in the soccer stadium. Soon our entire platoon was en route to search the stadium, which had long ago been overrun with shanties.

By the way, there are ramps that run up the sides of both halves of the stadium and we've occasionally seen cars parked up at the top near the press box. Other times, we've noticed kids who'd ridden their bikes all the way up to the top, careening down, surely whooping and hollering the entire way down.
