Finally EOD showed up, unloaded their robot and went to work. This shot was taken through SSG Dimitrov's optical range finder, and with my camera's zoom maxed out. Like I said, we were a good distance away. EOD tried to use the robot to drag the IED down into the gulley to help protect the locals from the blast but couldn't. Finally they just had to blow it in place. I don't think you can upload video to the blog but I hope someday I can show it to you.
