Here's a better shot of a man in traditional Kurdish clothes, at center. The pants are baggy and loose-fitting, there is a belt apparently of some wrapped cloth of some sort, and sometimes there is a matching jacket as well. This shot, with SSG Bettis (an active-duty Army 'filler' to our unit from the 101st Air Assault Division) on the left, is from a wedding we sort of crashed. Note the man's pistol tucked into his belt. Considering the occasion, he may have brought the weapon for some celebratory fire, which is extremely common here.
