Remember the two brothers on the tractor? Here they are again, just as their tractor conks out near my guard tower. Take a close look at their trailer, particularly the telling hole in the back axel. That's where the rear differential (where a driveline would mesh gears to the rear axel) should go, as the wagon they're towing is actually the back of an old truck. Most of the 'wagons' that tractors tow are re-used truck beds like this.

Almost all old vehicles' parts are put to good use, at least eventually. Like Indians and the American bison, no part is left unused, except one apparently. Posted by Picasa
