Your sewage gets flushed away by your toilet, never to be seen again. Hopefully it's treated somehow, somewhere, made clean(ish), and then reintroduced to the water supply. This is how Iraqi sewage flows. In this shot, I've taken the photo from the driver's seat of a Humvee, into someone's front gate. Their sewage flows out of their toilet, usually (as in this case) through their small entry courtyard, and out under their front gate. And where does it go from there?
