The car bomb, or 'Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device' in military parlance, went off about a mile and a half from our base and right in front of a polling site. In the photo, you see four charred cars on the right. Looking to the left of the cars, there's a chunk in the street, right in the middle of the large puddle. That's what's left of the car bomb. Luckily four civilians were only wounded in this bombing. We don't count what happened to the bomber.
