The patrol continued, on main avenues and backroads, but it was all very peaceful, very quiet, and quite literally awesome to be a part of. It's not everyday that you do a part, even if just a tiny one, to help a country vote on a brand new constitution, particularly one that hopefully will be in existence for many decades to come.

(Now, the contentious nature of this particular constitution being what it was, this being the largely constitution-less Middle East, and the track record of MOST country's constitutions being what it is, that might be a pipe dream. Then again, there once was a bunch of crazy guys in Philadelphia who harbored a few pipe dreams of their own, such as the notion of letting everyone in their new nation getting a chance to vote. You gotta dream big right?)
