We celebrated in fine style. I unwrapped my September 30th Tootsie Roll from the 'Countdown Candy' that Sally sent me (she sent me enough to have one per day until I get home) and tried splitting it between all the guys in the bay. That just didn't work. But we all still celebrated the demise of September, what SHOULD be our last full month in-country!
