The day of the 'Freedom Bird' we waited around most of the day, had a customs inspection of all our duffle bags (at this point we were told that, now that we'd packed all of our extra duffles elsewhere, that we could pack our body armor and helmets in the cargo hold of the plane, if we had extra duffles), then piled them high outside the tents, waiting for the 'Freedom Buses' to take us to the airport. And then we waited… again.
